I met her last year at a rockabilly show. The bands weren’t very good, but they never really are.

Sometimes you get in the mood to capture something that’s been lost or something you never, you never really had.

But there I was anyway, I was hiding in the bushes outside drinking cheap wine just like I used to do when I was a kid.

She was hiding out from an ex-boyfriend who was at the show with another girl. She’s been dodging them all night long.
I offered her some wine and she finished off the entire bottle. I spent a lot of time with her after that.
